Tech Reunions 2010 officially begins when McCormick Hall opens for registration in the afternoon. Please see your registration schedule for details.
In the evening, alumni and their guests gather for the elegant Prelude to Pops Dinner in the Stratton Student Center. Enjoy delicious food, have a complimentary glass of wine, and meet up with your friends before the concert. Some classes may have dinners at other locations, so please check your specific reunion schedule.
Now in its 113th year, Tech Night at Pops is one of the Institute's most beloved traditions. Join generations of MIT alumni, guests, graduating students, and their families for an exclusive concert of timeless classics, contemporary hits, and a stirring rendition of our alma mater, "In Praise of MIT." MIT student Sarah Rumbley '13 will join the Pops as a special soloist this year to perform Mendelssohn's Piano Concerto No. 1 in G minor.
Be sure to register early to reserve seats with your classmates. Shuttle bus service to and from Symphony Hall will be provided. Tech Night at Pops is an annual tradition you won't want to miss!
Symphony Hall management makes a concerted effort to provide access to the building for everyone. For more information regarding accessibility, please visit the Boston Symphony Orchestra Web site. Please note that children under the age of five are not allowed to attend Boston Pops concerts.
